The brief

The clothes were photographed beautifully and then displayed at thumbnail size in a four-column grid. Buyers who knew the label bought anyway. Nobody else understood what they were looking at.

What we did

We rebuilt the site around the campaign photography instead of around the product database. One garment per screen, shot at full height, with the detail shots earning their own scroll. The buy flow was shortened to three steps and moved out of the way until wanted.

“They understood that the photography was the product. Everything else got out of its way.”
